X Premium is a X’s premium subscription service that’s designed to enhance user experience on the platform. The service itself offer many benefits such as, a verified checkmark, editing post, longer posts and longer video uploads, reply prioritization, and more.

Between the three subscription that was offered by X, Basic, Premium, and Premium+. I chose the premium subscription and paid about IDR 120.000 or about USD 7,62.

For the last 30 days, what I do was only replying post that was uploaded by many accounts. Here’s my insight

Reply Boost and Deboost

As you can see I gained 2.5 million impressions over the last 30 days. Feb 12 — Feb 20 was the highest peak and I almost reached 800k impressions only in just 2 days because of one of X premium features which is reply boost. But, you can also see that I’m there’s some down trend on Feb 16 — Feb 18. That’s what you called a reply deboost.

What is exactly reply boost and reply deboost?

Reply boost meaning your post in the app are more likely to be seen while deboost mean the opposite, which your reply is more likely to not bee seen by other users. From what I learn while trying X Premium is

“Stay neutral and don’t use harsh or sensitive word”

It took me about one week or just a 3–4 days to get my reply boosted again as you can see in the data visualization. Now let’s talk about how to get some impressions in your replies or post.

Getting Huge Impressions

What I did was find a post that was sent 30 minutes — 2 hours before, and I also checked the impressions that the post got. Besides that, I also check the trending topics that are happening in my country right now, like the national election, scandals, and others like that. Just make sure your reply is as neutral and safe as possible.

I typically respond to posts like the one above that were sent by a Twitter/X base to make things simple. A post will typically become popular later in the day if the impressions are between 30,000 and 60,000 within two or one hour of the base sending the post.

Was it worth it?

It’s a yes for me. X premium has allowed me to experience the what’s its like to help another people by replying or even just replying for fun, although sometimes I was given a shadow ban for no reason. But, it has been only 1 month and I wanted to extend my research for another 3 months.
